Who We Are
We are a congregation of Christians in Streetsboro seeking to follow Jesus, worship according to the New Testament, and help one another live faithfully before God.
We are not trying to be a denomination, a social club, or a religious brand. Our desire is simple: to be Christians, to follow Scripture, and to honor Christ in what we teach and practice.
Our Worship
Our worship is simple and centered on God’s word. Jesus said that true worshipers must worship the Father “in spirit and truth” (John 4:24), and that is what we are trying to do.
When we gather, we follow the pattern we find in the New Testament. We sing together, pray, hear preaching from Scripture, observe the Lord’s Supper, and provide an opportunity for members to give.
Our services are not built around entertainment or performance. They are meant to be reverent, understandable, and focused on God.
What to Expect
If you visit with us, you will find ordinary people trying to follow the Bible and encourage one another.
You do not need to know everything before you come. You are welcome to sit, listen, follow along, and ask questions when you are ready. We would be glad to meet you, but we will not put you on the spot.
Simply Christians
The church described in the New Testament was made up of people who belonged to Christ. That is still our goal today.
We want to respect Christ’s authority in all that we do, in our worship, our teaching, our service, and our lives. We are simply trying to be Christians — nothing more and nothing less.
Serving Streetsboro Since 1967
The Streetsboro church of Christ has been part of this community since 1967, when the congregation was formally incorporated on November 21, 1967. Much has changed through the years, but our desire remains the same: to follow Christ, worship according to the New Testament, and encourage one another in faithful service to God.
